Saris in Bantam (now Indonesia).  The map is believed to have been  taken from the Chinese drawing that was drawn in 1593 Cao Map, of which there is only one known recorded copy.  In the Purchas map the province boundaries are shown, perhaps for the first time on a Western map.  The map is rated Excellent, with no apparent flaws, the verso is blank and measures approximately (14.5" x 11/5" - 36.9 x 29.3 cm) in black and white.      $6230.   ($10.50 shipping / handling / ins.)
