440.29 The Hawaiian Islands - Hawaii Territory Survey, 1919, by Walter E. Wall, Washington, D.C.

The map was part of a survey done by Walter E. Wall and W. D. Alexander between 1897 and 1920.  This very large scale map depicts the island chain just as it became a Territory of the United States on July 7, 1898.  There are two inserts.  One depicts the islands of Haleakala, Mokuaweoweo, and Kilaauea.  The second insert shows the limits of the Bird Reservation.  The map is rated Excellent with no apparent flaws.  Printed on thin paper the it  measures approximately (38" x 26"  - 96 x 64 cm)    $315.  ($10.50 shipping / handling / ins. - U.S. only, International addnl)
