Published in Paris by Laurie & Whittle from the Atlas General the map was reissued and printed on heavy paper with a publication date of May 12, 1794.  Centered on North Africa and Asia, coverage of the ancient world includes Europe, the Middle East and Malaysia.  In original outline color the uncolored title cartouche compliments the distance scales and notations in French located in the lower right corner.  The map is rated Very Good [see our rating criteria on the Home Page] with the right margin cut close to the neatline and a small tear is noted at the top centerfold intruding into the map by 2 cm.  The map measures approximately (22.7" x 29.3').     $225 ($10.50 shipping / handling / ins.)
