This Civil War era map was published in the report to the 39th Congress in 1866 covering the Nashville and Cumberland River regions of Tennessee. The positions of the Union and Confederate armies are shown in color with roads, place names, and other topographic features. This map is somewhat unusual in that; reports to Congress about the war were not published until the 1890’s. The map is rated Excellent [see our rating criteria on the Home Page] with one fold mark noted with toning, folded as issued and has strong color. The printing measures approximately (15.0″ x 12.8″ – 36.1 x 32.6 cm)
