Finely engraved map of the Virginia, Mid-Atlantic region. The map covers most of Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, with a small portion of southern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Topographic detail is very good with mountains and rivers identified. An early network of trails and wagon roads are shown along the seaboard; stretching as far west as “Fredic Town ou Winchester”. A very detailed rococo-style cartouche is featured. The map is rated Excellent [see our rating criteria on the Home Page]. It measures approximately (11.2″ x 7.4″ – 28.4 x 18.8 cm).
